According to DealBook, mergers and acquisition activity was down 34 percent worldwide to $481 billion in the first quarter of 2012. See the chart below from Dealbook regarding top legal advisers in M & A.

Top 25 Highest Rated CEOs

According to a new report from Glassdoor, Tim Cook of Apple is the top rated CEO. The survey data is based on only one question that was asked to employees: “Do you approve of the way your CEO is leading the company?” Below is the rest of the list:

Note: The list is riddled with tech companies – Apple sits on top, but Qualcomm, Google, Intel, and VMware all place high as well.
